Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great for Coolum locals to have their own centre for both community activities and theatre. Saw a great show with Catherine Alcorn channelling Bette Midler - could almost swear she was the legend herself. Not a huge theatre, perhaps 350 seats but just the right size to feel the show, unlike the atmosphere of a huge arena.

Just happened to walk past this venue on the way to the library. Impressive appearance but was closed at the time of our visit.

Great venue for theatre productions. Each year there are three musicals or plays put on by the Coolum Theatre Players. An amateur group but highly regarded in their wide variety of performances

This has a small set of regular shops, coffee shops, deli, organic food shop, flower shop and more. We head there when we need something and don't stick around as it is just an in out type of area with no major draw cards.

Jack Morgan used to run a grocery store on the main street behind which was a local cricket ground where my family frequented in the early. The ground is now referred to as the Jack Morgan park and the Civic centre was built as a multi purpose facility. Currently it hosts a health clinic but holds Tai Chi exercise groups and drama plays. Every community needs a facility like this.

Not open when we called by - Wednesday at 2.30 pm - so check opening times. Close to the shops and next door to the library with plenty of free parking close by and the beautiful beach across the road

Since the renovations were completed this is really nice now and the gardens at the front are really well done.

We went to a show several of us about 15. The stage show was not terrific but the venue was very good. It's a shame that it could not be layered so that the people behind people did not have to move from side to side to see and this then affected the people behind them

On one hand, could be seen as just a local hall but it is great for locals to have the range of theatre and musicals without the need to go to Brisbane for an event.
