About
Oz Ski Resort is the Sunshine Coast's only man made fresh water ski facility. We offer beginner to advanced water skiing and wake boarding lessons, banana boat rides, knee boarding, and tubing. Lessons include boat, driver, coach, free use of the latest equipment and your own personal water time. Only 5 minutes from Coolum Beach. Oz Ski Resort is operated by World Champions Emma and Curtis Sheer

What's great place to visit. Emma and the team really looked after us visiting kiwis.
OzSki provided the perfect venue for us to train and get outstanding coaching. We're already trying to figure out how we can get back next year!

Family of four had an awesome time learning to ski Jan 2015.
Instructor (Tom) was a fantastic and patient instructor, especially with the kids, and the whole team were friendly and professional.
Terrific set up, very well organized, but at the same time very relaxed and chilled.

We had a great time as a family learning to water ski and wakeboard. Our daughter of 11 had no experience and by the time we were finished she could not only water ski but was able to do the basics of single skiing plus they have a lake side spa pool to warm you up. Yay!
There is nothing frightening in the water if that's is your concern.
This was the highlight of our trip. Cost wise it is very fair and is similar to taking the family to a theme park but a lot more rewarding.

My children visited Oz Ski Resort during the July holidays from New Zealand and had a fantastic time. Were looked after by Emma and the team there like they were family! The children improved their skiing, set goals and will bring back their knowledge to improve over summer. Thank you for the care and the fun they had!!

The teachers didn’t have communication skills. They spent so much time talking that the kids were confused and bored. (So was I) we barely got 5 minutes on the water. For the price it felt like it was over valued.

Easy to organise, Great Facilities, Great Coaching and Great People is all we need!
Heaps of fun, nothing was a problem and very flexible. Plenty of accomodation in the area, and everything you need to make for a great trip close by. Top class facilities and Emma and Rick are both top level, great coaches. Thanks for putting up with us and for an awesome few days, looking forward to next time already!

Whether you're an accomplished skier or want to learn to ski, Oz Ski is a "must-do" whilst visiting the Sunshine Coast. The freshwater lake is beautiful, clear and warm, and the coaches and staff are incredible. Our three girls, ages 16, 14 and 11, enjoyed the coaching so much that they wanted to visit the resort every day of our holiday. (We made four visits in nine days.)They were already competent skiers, but coach Emma Sheers (one of the world's top female skiiers) took their skiing to a new level on the slalom course. For non-skiers, there is a covered deck/shelter with a perfect view of the lake and a brand new gym as well. There are light meals and snacks available at the park and a cafe under construction. We plan to visit the resort every time we are in the area.

We stumbled upon Oz Ski Resort one weekend looking for something to do. We drove from Brisbane on no recommendation. I haven't skied for 27 years and I thought I would try it again and see if our 6 year old son wanted to try it. Amazingly, Emma had him up skiing within his first 30 min lesson. My lesson made me realize how much I enjoy watersports and lake settings. Emma suggested a tube ride at the end of the lesson. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful experience. We had an absolute blast. We were badgered the entire trip home as to when we could return. We did return and it was just as fun! Emma somehow got me up wakeboarding in 30mins as well. She knows what she is doing. We will be returning to give the whole family a share in the fun.
Whether you are a local, a day tripper, or on holidays I would highly recommend Oz Ski Resort for any level of skill/ experience.
