We went to Ans de Sordan several times. It has a small beach and grass area suitable for picnics. The lake was great to swim in & watersports are offered from the cafe at the end (who also do lovely ice creams) Dogs are not...More

I visited Lac de Guerlédan with my grandparents and sister on quite a cloudy and cold day. There were many English on the beach, but it was not too crowed. We decided to do some water sports.
For 1 hour, me and my sister went...More
Came here for a swim in the lake as it’s over 30 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. A truly beautiful place. We got there at 11am before the crowds and there were only five people on the “beach”. Water lovely and warm...More

A lovely woodland walk round the outside of the lake. Skimming stones into the water. And a quick, cold, dip in the water, plus a play in the sand. And as it was out of season and a day littered with showers we hardly saw...More

Hi, I don't recollect seeing any of late but when the lake was drained the local farmers opened up their fields for motorhomes. There is a site at Beau Rivage that may be open for motorhomes now the tourist season is underway. Hope it's of some help to you.

Yes, dogs are allowed in the lake, but in the summer they are not allowed on the sandy beach areas for obvious reasons. That's never been an issue for us as there are numerous small gravel and stone beaches away from the main beach areas that are ideal for dogs. Don't forget its a huge lake - 400 ha with a massive shoreline, so there is plenty of space for dogs away from the areas where people are swimming / sun bathing etc.
