If you ever get the chance to visit the lake when it has been drained for maintenance then you must. We were fortunate to visit and explore the lake bed and canal which is normally submerged along with all of the old houses. In France...More

The lake is a beautiful place to visit. Facilities are super with bars, restaurants and water sports. Lovely beach area for relaxing and safe play for children. Would highly recommend

Loads to do from walks around the lake, freshwater swimming, watersports, cycling, boat trips, fishing...lots of little beaches, and a character that varies from location to location

We went first week of September, gorgeous hot day and the beach at Beau Rivage was busy. However only one cafe was open and despite many kayaks, pedaloes, motor boats etc. Present on beach, neither the tourist office or Guerledan boats were hiring any out!?...More

Yes, dogs are allowed in the lake, but in the summer they are not allowed on the sandy beach areas for obvious reasons. That's never been an issue for us as there are numerous small gravel and stone beaches away from the... More
