Having taken the Auckland/Rangitoto flight it was an excellent opportunity to see your own city and harbour from the air. Phil was a good host and pilot pointing out all the main features of the vista. Having lived most of our life in the city, the chance to see it like this is a must.

HUGE thanks to Jacob (Whitianga) who made our scenic flight over the Coromandel Peninsula the best! He gave us awesome insight and guidance to Coromandel from above, threw in some interesting facts and made us feel safe and well looked after for the whole flight. An excellent experience for someone who knows the area well, and also a tourist seeing it for the first time. Thanks Jacob!

It was an awesome experience overseeing CBD and islands (Rangitoto, Waiheke and some private island).
Highly recommended. I’ve been living in Auckland since 2017, I can’t believe what I saw when Im up there. Truly stoked. Would happy to do it again with family.

We did the Coromandel lunch trip, absolutely loved it. We had to reschedule due to COVID lockdown but couldn't have asked for more accomodating staff with working dates around that and some good weather. The Pilots were very friendly and helpful when we turned up, awesome views of the coast and water even on a bit of a cloudy day. Highly recommended for something out of the box!

Hi i booked a scenic flight for my Son and Daughter In Law For A Christmas present.As i didnt tell them about the flight untill we arrived all the time i was wondering if it was the right gift for them.I didnt have to worry as they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.On arriving we where meet by Elaine who was so nice and while i was waiting for there return Elaine made sure i was ok such a lovely person.So thankyou Air Auckland a great gift for my family and a Special Thankyou to Elaine. have to SAY it is absolutely an amazing experience. We departure from Papakura, having 30 minutes trip. Breath-taking scenic views from the air gave me unforgettable experiences. The pilot is friendly and introduced me quite a lot about trip. We will definitely recommend my friends and families to have a try. Thanks a lot.

Flight Hauraki offer a large number of scenic flight options. On a recent day trip to Waiheke island, I did the 'Buzz around Waiheke' flight, a loop around the island. I would need to reach for a thesaurus to find a suitable number of adjectives to describe how awesome this flight was!
Very easy to book on their website, and great email communication back and forth about the best times and weather for a flight.
Anyone visiting Waiheke should go for a flight!

This was, hands down, one of the best days out I've had in Auckland. Professional, funny and knowledgeable, pilot Cam Moring was the best tour guide we could have hoped for. If you're looking for a special way to see the beautiful Hauraki Gulf, I can't recommend this company enough. Thoroughly recommended!

I booked this flight for myself and my partner, although it did not start off well as they did were 30 minutes late and also were not aware of our booking (luckily I had booking confirmation). The pilot Cam and his trainee pilot Mike were still happy to take us up - they were very friendly. So glad we got to do this, amazing experience viewing Auckland and the surrounding islands from the air! Over far too quickly, but would highly recommend this!

After many attempts at the hotel concierge to try and find an aerial experience with landings for my family that didn't cost an outrageous amount, I decided to get it done myself and give Flight Hauraki a call.
Cam came through with flying colors. We experienced a few hiccups with the package we wanted mostly because the booking was last minute, but Cam went above and beyond to make it right and make it happen, providing us with options that still met our desires and maintained contact with us throughout for planning to ensure we knew what we were getting. Not to mention he would come through for us all on his day off!
The man has a passion for flying and is a professional in the truest sense of the word. In getting to know our new friend we found that for a challenge, he's landed on every airport and bush patch on NZ... for fun! Experiencing how he dealt with the dynamic changes in weather and some turbulence due to volcanoes to smooth out the flight, there's no question the man can fly. Cheers Cam for a fantastic flight and for being a great person. We need more people like this out there. Wish you all the best buddy!
