Incredible place to visit, such a rare opportunity to see these aircraft flying. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and took time to escort us to a second hanger full of working WWI aircraft. The Harvard’s, Spitfire and Isaacs Fury all flew. There’s a cafe...More

We enjoyed a very informative day with the crew from Ardmore Warbirds on Sunday. Good work by the volunteers. If you have some spare time I can recommend you having a visit.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival to the new Warbirds hangar. The volunteers were very friendly and knowledgable. I have not visited the previous hangar, but the new hangar is very interesting with lots of aircraft types and information about them. John...More

Made our way down to the warbirds hanger today, luckily they had some of the planes getting ready and flying to tauranga. The guys there are very dedicated to the planes and have a great wealth of information about them and the airport. Highly recommend...More

I always enjoy visiting the NZ Warbirds Association's Visitors Centre. Very friendly and knowledgeable, helpful people who're always welcoming. And the displays and aircraft are excellent and seem to get better every time I visit. Plus there's always a good chance of seeing some warbirds...More
