NZ Warbirds At Ardmore is operated by the New Zealand Warbirds Association which is the national umbrella body responsible for the safe management of the operating environment for ex- military and vintage aircraft in New Zealand. NZ Warbirds At Ardmore provides an opportunity to the public to get close to the operational and static aircraft of the Association. Such aircraft on display include ex- military and vintage aircraft such as Harvards, P51 Mustang, A4 Skyhawk, Aermacchi, Strikemaster, CT4, L39 Albatross, Spitfire, P40, DC3 Dakota, Catalina and many others. The visitor center presents flying memorabilia and RNZAF squadron history as well as an extensive scale model collection and aviation library resource.

I always enjoy visiting the NZ Warbirds Association's Visitors Centre. Very friendly and knowledgeable, helpful people who're always welcoming. And the displays and aircraft are excellent and seem to get better every time I visit. Plus there's always a good chance of seeing some warbirds...More
