Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So many stalls, so much variety. We love going to the markets every time we are in Hawke's Bay. Treat yourself on a Sunday morning, good cofee, wonderful food choices for breakfast and quality produce to take home.

Such a pretty setting in amongst the Autumn trees, great variety of fresh produce and so many choices for breads, baked goods, great coffee (thanks Hawthorne) Recommend the bacon sandwiches, these are what they say and so tasty not ruined by sauces etc.
Lovely family feeling, music playing, and great to know you're getting fresh food.
The Organic apples as well as Henry's Pies would travel over there from Tauranga to get!
Have visited in Summer, Winter and Autumn - all seasons something very special to offer.

A wide range of locally made produce at this local market.this is a better market than most others throughout NZ. There are a number of local producers that sell at top end shops throughout NZ eg tasty fig and lime products. Delicious fresh breads, salmon and a huge selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. beautifully freshly cut flowers and plenty of plants for the garden too.

If you are in the area and like locally produced products, this is well worth visiting. I was very impressed with the amount of stalls there and the selection of products available. If you do like coffee there are three options available but be prepared to queue. A number of stalls had ephos machines, which was great as I don’t carry cash. There is a lot of parking available and it didn’t take me long to find a space. Will definitely be back when in the area again

Always go here when in HBay on a Sunday. Plenty of parking and amazing range of local Produce and oil, jams, beer, chilli products etc. Dogs not allowed in but plenty of parks under the shade of big trees

Maybe it was the time of year but this was way smaller than we expected. Really only had food stalls and the prices were pretty expensive for a farmers market. More than the supermarket which was disappointing. We were done in about 1/2hr. What we did buy tho, cherries and dried meat, were super delicious.

A wide selection of stalls, covering baked goods, honey, produce, wines, meats... with music - quite lively!

A weekend in Hawkes Bay is not complete with a visit to the Hawkes Bay Farmers Market. A massive range of stalls selling a wide variety of products, food and beverages. Live music, seating and free tastings of many products. Plants, vegetables, preserves, baking it's all there!!!
