Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such a pretty setting in amongst the Autumn trees, great variety of fresh produce and so many choices for breads, baked goods, great coffee (thanks Hawthorne) Recommend the bacon sandwiches, these are what they say and so tasty not ruined by sauces etc.
Lovely family feeling, music playing, and great to know you're getting fresh food.
The Organic apples as well as Henry's Pies would travel over there from Tauranga to get!
Have visited in Summer, Winter and Autumn - all seasons something very special to offer.

Unlike most farmers market’s I have been too this really has great products and produce for really good prices. Great variety of food that you can use.
Coffee and breakfast type food was in short supply and the queues very long. Some more of this type of takeaway food would be great.
Loved the market, clean, good music. There’s ATMs available as most stalls don’t take cash - which is handy. They charge $2 tho.

We went there on a Sunday morning because we like this sort of market and wanted to have breakfast there before continuing our NZ trip down to Wellington. Indeed they offered wonderful croissants, Brezel German style and even what they called the Berlin Loaf (a sourdough bread). While my husband queued at the bakery stall and got served quickly I had to wait more than 10 minutes for two long blacks at the coffee booth pick-up. Not a real problem on a sunny day but it shows how busy the market was...
The market offers all sorts of local produce - fruit (oh those strawberries), wine, cheese, vegetable, meat, honey, even macarons - and has an organic touch. I found the beeswax wraps most interesting. It seems to be a meeting point for people from the neighbourhoods.

A weekend in Hawkes Bay is not complete with a visit to the Hawkes Bay Farmers Market. A massive range of stalls selling a wide variety of products, food and beverages. Live music, seating and free tastings of many products. Plants, vegetables, preserves, baking it's all there!!!

If you are in the area and like locally produced products, this is well worth visiting. I was very impressed with the amount of stalls there and the selection of products available. If you do like coffee there are three options available but be prepared to queue. A number of stalls had ephos machines, which was great as I don’t carry cash. There is a lot of parking available and it didn’t take me long to find a space. Will definitely be back when in the area again

This market is quite extensive and it sells a wide range of fruit veg and other foods needing preparation and crafts as well as fast food. Ubiquitous honey. There is a lot of parking but the earlier you get there the closer you will be to the market.

So many stalls, so much variety. We love going to the markets every time we are in Hawke's Bay. Treat yourself on a Sunday morning, good cofee, wonderful food choices for breakfast and quality produce to take home.

What a delightful farmers' market! There was a wide range of produce, typically fresh fruit and veggies, meat, cheese, preserves, plants, baking, eggs, etc as well as coffees and takeaway foods. The violinists at the entrances were a lovely touch. There was an ATM on site for those who do not carry cash! There was ample parking. The stall holders were all very friendly and knowledgeable about their product, often offering samples to taste/trial. I wish I lived in the area and could visit frequently!

Maybe it was the time of year but this was way smaller than we expected. Really only had food stalls and the prices were pretty expensive for a farmers market. More than the supermarket which was disappointing. We were done in about 1/2hr. What we did buy tho, cherries and dried meat, were super delicious.

Always fun, lots of delicious fresh produce, artisan meats and cheeses but my favorite is the honey. Come early and have breakfast maybe a waffle and coffee or for the more adventurous a dosa or paella. There is always music and the plant lady has interesting and different plants. Every Sunday all year, so if you are in the Hawkes Bay on a Sunday make sure you visit.
