We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was in a hurry when I visited the gallery, so only had time for a cursory walk around - gorgeous displays of local ceramics and more by many different artisans. Prices seem reasonable. Wish it had been open the other couple of times I passed it. Will be checking out on line when I get home.

Looking for something created by a local artist...this is the place! We found a great selection of local ceramics and pottery, plus wall art as well. We had a life sized seagull made of ceramic sent to our home in Utah and it arrived a mere two weeks after purchase. This is a great place to find locally made items.

When you're too busy to drive out to meet the potters in their own environment, South Street is the place to go. Folks are knowledgeable about local potters and you can see the different styles in one place. Wonderful.

Whenever I am in Nelson, I always stop here. Over the years I have taken many pottery pieces back to the USA with me. The pottery from the Nelson Tasman district is very creative and unique. Prices are reasonable and all work is by local potters. The store itself is a old house with small rooms and with a narrow set of stairs to an upstairs display area. It's a short walk from the main street.

Wonderful range of pottery by local artists, with variety to suit all tastes plus very friendly and helpful proprietor. Would have bought more had I not been flying home to UK.

South Street Gallery is a two-storied gallery/shop located near the historic street of the same name, near the centre of town. They show pottery by local artists so this is the place to go if you want a large selection to choose from.

First of all, the lady that was running the store was so friendly, helpful, and charming. The stock of pottery in the gallery is widely diverse. They have sculptures, dishes, wall pieces, and even wonderful watercolors. There were many items that we would have loved to have purchased, but carrying them back to the US was a concern. The wonderful lady was even going to allow us to park our campervan behind the gallery to help us out.
