We visited Natureland on 7 March. We found it to be a fabulous small Zoo. We particularly enjoyed the mischevious Capuchin monkeys. Very affordable and wonderful experience.

My 2.5 year old loved it. Good variety of animals that are easy to spot. He loved feeding the farm animals. Sandpit and playground were great additions and kept him entertained all morning.

Our 1 year old daughter loved it, especially the goats poking their heads through the fence to be fed. Nice place, good range of animals, great signage and a friendly greeting on arrival. If we went again I’d pack a picnic as there are tables...More

My family and I have been here multiple times and every time there is something new to see. Plenty to see and learn about New Zealand’s amazing creatures and animals from abroad. Would recommend to all

Great little zoo, wide range of animals to see and wonderful new signage around the enclosures. Staff always warm and friendly. Also very good to see how much they are doing for local conservation with the Keas, Kakas and Kakarikis. Definately worh the small admission...More

Took a few kids to Natureland. It is a bit disappointing. It's quite small and took us all of 10min to walk around all the animals. Smaller kids enjoyed it but kids over 8 years weren't too impressed. The play area is also very small....More

Not a huge amount to see or do, will kill an hour with young kids. Friendly staff. Not great for wet days.

Went there with my family and was surprised about the variety and good conditions of animals. My favourite were meerkats and Capuchin monkeys. My baby loved the pigs and friendly goats. Buy the animal feed at the door and you wont regret it as animals...More

Not really sure what you mean here - all animals have species and behavior specific requirements which our talented team attend to every day.
