In November i walk the „Great Walk Abel Tasman. Now was my wife in NZ and i Walks 1 station from Abel. Seh was very happy. Uta in DOC Nelson makes a very good Job.

Lots of local information in this i_SITE. However we did find it amusing that many of the staff were not Kiwi's and they had difficulty understanding us. There was also a similar problem when booking trips as the staff at the venue could not understand...More

I had no idea how difficult transportation was to figure out to link two tracks. I was totally taken care of, got a shuttle booked and everything worked out- I was super relaxed after that.

This is one of the best I-Site centre's I’ve seen. Lots of helpful brochures plus other various bits and pieces to have a look at to help with trip planning. Staff appeared to be helpful.

A huge amount of information is available about attractions, walks etc. In the town and nearby area. There is also details and help from staff about conservation which I found of particular interest.

New Zealand has lots of different isites but Nelson definitely has one of the better ones! Nice service and lots of informations about the surroundings! Well looked after. You can easily spend a couple of hours here.
