The staff member behind the counter on the day we called was arrogant, I asked for information on where we could visit while holidaying in Nelson and she threw a pamphlet down on the counter - then said "Next"

Well organised store with plenty of pamphlets and helpful staff. Has a good central location. Only annoyance for me is the relatively short opening hours otherwise a very helpful stop. I note several useful stores nearby to assist travellers with their needs. 1661.

All the i-sites around NZ are very well connected with the travel agencies, hotels, hostels, and services. Therefore, if you need any arrangement of bookings on accommodation, services (kayaking, dolphin watching etc etc), and buses. They are very helpful, plus i-sites have small corners for selling souvenirs.

The staff were both helpful and knowledgeable, but sadly the poor internet connectivity makes this place less helpful than otherwise it would have been. If you just want to check emails it's fine.

Very helpful we went in twice for information on places to go things to do costs etc. Picked up a couple of good maps which helped us plan our days to make the most of our short time in Nelson. We booked a ferry trip to Able Tadmin, walk and kyack, and a shuttle pick up so we didn't have... More
