An interesting place to wander to see the development & history of the Nelson region. Plenty of old building showing the original goods & services of bygone eras. A small train to ride on and Founders Brewery & Cafe to relax in

A wonderful display of heritage buildings ideally suited for family groups, particularly during school holidays. Lots of attractions including a video on how to use the apple sorter. Check out the cargo plane as well.

We were quite surprised that this little old sort of western town was hidden on the outskirts of Nelson. Worth the visit you feel transported back in time. A must visit if you like to see historic places.

Lovely staff at front reception. Kids enjoyed running around the village, lots of history and information. Lovely cafe with a good range of different beers. Well priced for visitors, just a really nice time spent there.
