We were quite surprised that this little old sort of western town was hidden on the outskirts of Nelson. Worth the visit you feel transported back in time. A must visit if you like to see historic places.

Lovely staff at front reception. Kids enjoyed running around the village, lots of history and information. Lovely cafe with a good range of different beers. Well priced for visitors, just a really nice time spent there.

The beer tasting at the pub was my favourite part. The people were pleasant but it was a bit flat. Perhaps better for children than adults

A fascinating range of historical objects are on display in this Park. There are some excellent artisans to visit and there's an awesome cafe and brewery. it's also a great place to hold an event.
