Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Isel House and Grounds is a must visit. The Gardens are nice, aged trees and lots of plants, plus a creeek. The Homestead is interesting. The Cafe open in the summer period is also good, they just need to clearly state opening hours and seasonal operating , the last couple of years, that has been an issue

We visit this park whenever we can, they have a market with food stalls, very delicious food and finish off with an ice cream
The market is growing and now has many stalls of clothing, trinkets and good locally made arts and crafts
Well worth a visit to this Park, we go whenever we can
Dog-friendly as well, take a Poo bag

This well maintained historical house is centrally situated in Stoke, accessed from the Main rd or Hillard St. Set in a garden park area..with mature trees, many planted over 150 years ago. The family home of the Marsdens built and added to over the years from 1840's to 1890's still with much of their original furniture, paintings, books and crockery.

We tried the delicious homemade pies for lunch here today. What a treat! And the garden setting was lovely on a sunny warm day with a great playground for little children.

Delightfully central to a small village, beautifully maintained, old heritage trees. Thursday late afternoon early evening market, music and street stall food. Good place for a picnic or a stroll.

Isle park house is a lovely old house in the middle of a wonderful park, well worth a look through. They have a Thursday night market right by it and it now has a café that is open at the back of the house in the weekends and weekdays and is a really nice setting.

Our visit to this historic house was ruined by a smarmy, aggressive volunteer guide who didn't make us feel welcome at all. We ran away from him and had a quick look over the place but didn't feel comfortable about staying.

We nearly walked away as the opening times were wrong - but glad we persevered as the displays within the house are well done. The gardens are a plus

We had a lovely visit to Isel House. The house was lovely & the grounds were beautiful. We even met up with a volunteer that we had gone to school with 65yrs ago. He advised us about the night market, so we went back that evening, looked around the stalls & enjoyed a varied dinner. Would certainly recomment.
