Spent a a couple of hours with Evan as a guide and was wonderful fun! He drove us up a pretty average track to skyline but he was full of information about New Zealand and the flora and fauna of the farm. The whole family was strapped in as we flew across the valley. Fantastic and recommend it to all... More

With a gentle rocking motion the cable moved forward and then the clamps were released. We flew down the cable at 91kph before slowing down and going backward at 85kph. An amazing ride many, many metres above beautiful dense bush. Combined with the bay bike ride (including coffee/tea and biscuits at the lookout) it was an exceptional experience. Our riding... More

In a market flooded with various rides and attractions around the country, we paid $75 apiece (2 of us) for a ride on the Flywire. Our friendly and chatty guide took us up the hill and gave us a running commentary of various points going up the hills. The ride looks like a ski-lift of sorts, and we were firmly... More

Thanks for your review. That's what makes the Skywire so great, you get both the thrill ride going down, then enjoy the quiet pristine native bush as you are slowly pulled up the other side. More

Awesome setting for this unique experience on a 1 mile cable ride across a natural bush valley. Interesting commentary by staff members during journey on property. If you enjoy farmland/forest heights and a bit of fast ride with a difference, it is worth the journey 10 mins from nelson. Even to drive to end of road about 6km takes you... More

Thank you for your review. It's great that we are so close to Nelson city yet we are away from crazy busy streets. Cable Bay is spectacular too. More

Awesome!!! We got in just as they were closing but they still took us up, thankfully the hail stopped and rain held off and we ended up with a spectacular view! 150mts above the ground and wow! The drive up to the sky wire is also great, and Scott is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommended if you are looking... More

Glad my son made me 'face the fear and do it anyway',terrified of heights, real white knuckle ride as I couldn't let go or move, but pleased to have done it

Fight or Flight, we have many customers that are terrified of heights. It gives the team great satisfaction when we see our customers come back with Grins on their faces that they accomplished the something they'd never dare to do. More

We visit regularly for the chicken and camambert panini , a sweet treat and a chat with the wonderfully friendly staff. Love their coffee too. After many years it feels like a home away from home.

Quadbiking and fly wire combo was brilliant. Fantastic scenery. Scott was friendly and an informative guide, and we were lucky to have a tour just for the 2 of us. It was quite tailored to our capabilities given we'd quad biked before. The fly wire was great fun and we were well looked after. Nice touch with a snack at... More

What a great review. A shame you could not experience the beauty of "Scott's favourite spot", its absolutely stunning on a clear day. I think all our team could say its our favourite place to be on the property. Spring time is very special here at Happy Valley, lots of little lambs running around. Thank you for your review. More

We had a great afternoon at Happy Valley. Our teenage son and daughter rode their own bikes and we rode in luxury on one of the big quads. Phil the guide was great, well informed and a great sense of humor. I would recommend these guys to anyone. The Dentons

Thanks for your review. Its great to hear you've had a good time out on the Quads with Phil. Your teenagers must have been competent riders and over 16 years of age. More

Amazing flight in a seat 150mts above the tree tops on a giant flying fox or zipwire, they set us flying down the wire 3 times, very unexpected and generous.....a great experience
