What an experience.
The Artist Donna was as delightful and passionate as her paintings and Artistic creations.
I immersed myself in the glorious surroundings of her passion.
An hour was not long enough.
Thank you Donna.
You are an INSPIRATION

There are all kinds of curiosities to explore and maybe even buy. I could spend hours just looking. It's like an I-Spy picture full of beautiful and quirky art.

It’s certainly a collection of all things different, arts crafts trinkets and everything in between. If you look hard enough you will find it!

A road of very different shops. Yes, there is a very fine bakery as well, but the street is a wondrous mix of clothes shops of a theatrical nature, well-crafted souvenirs, mixed with a model-railway exhibition and even a part of an aeroplane that the local cadets use for training. Just a weird mix that brings a smile to your face. "Think" it's only open on Sundays but might be wrong on that.

Tucked away down one of the Victorian streets is this wonderful array of art, books, objects and the different. Friendly gallery owner who has much to impress with his information on all that is Oamaru.

This wonderful gallery is hard to describe, but really worth a visit, it's not like anywhere you have visited before. If you are staying in Oamaru for a few days make sure to check out any events happening, there are often excellent musicians playing here, and this is a venue that is truly unique. Plus if you are visiting from elsewhere you will have a chance to meet local people as well at any evening event. Donna, the artist who hosts this venue, will offer a warm welcome and the Victorian flavour that is truly Oamuru. Not to be missed!

Thank you so much...we love what we do and the musical events have added a lovely dimension to the gallery space...both culturally and socially enriching!

Amazing. Arresting. Breathtaking. Intriguing. Amusing. Challenging. All of the '****-ing's'. A mind-widening experience that is only available in the Heritage Quarter of Ōamaru, Waitaki district, Otago.

I have to admit it was not my cup of tea, so I would not try to put people off going. If you are unfit the stairs are a bit of a climb. They ask for a donation or to but some art to help support artist

If you do not wish to dissuade people from visiting us because we are not your 'cup of tea' please consider that giving us a 'poor' rating does just that...especially considering we offer our gallery for your perusal free of charge (unless you deem it worthy of a small donation.) Art is always subjective and tastes vary. Please ruminate on the unkindness of your actions. Thank you.
