Ian has the magic touch when it comes to interesting sculptures. Make a purchase and you will not be disapointedas you will have a piece of Oamaru that you will treasure for a lifetime. Prices are not too bad when considering the time and effort tht goes into every piece and he has a range of prices and sculpture sizes available

How enthralling to see a solid block of Oamaru stone slowly take on the form of a Maori symbol, or a bird, or some item produced for a commission. Wonderful to see stone carving demonstrations, all of which activities are free. Then you can walk through to the adjoining gallery and look at art pieces, finished sculptures, and other bits and pieces on display. Well worth 30 to 60 minutes for a highly educational intriguing session.
