The bacon butties ($6 each) are a highlight. Excellent coffee, a good range of vegies, cheese, baking and other yummy local produce, and all just along the road from the unique playground and opposite the historic quarter.

We try to visit local markets throughout our travels. Whilst the number of outlets seemed small compared with bigger centres the range of goods was comparable to some of those that have a greater population base. Stall holders were very informative on their goods and whilst it was a not a so pleasant Sunday morning weather wise, it was well worth visiting. The bacon butties are great and the excellent range of preserves available (with the ability to taste before you buy) is alone worth the visit.

Whether rain or shine we have to Admire the people who make this market happen. A great variety of goods for sale, high quality and the whole market has a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend this as a great outing, whether family or couples or by yourself. Just go.

The variety of stalls in this relatively small market is amazing and there's many tempting things to taste as well as some excellent craft stalls. We took home loaves of sour dough bread to accompany our meal.

What an amazing find at the end of the Historic Precinct. So much fresh produce, live music and food ready to eat along with a coffee.

I think it's a stretch to call this a farmers market as the majority of the stalls are general market fair. Limited produce and only a few food options (the bacon butter and sausage in bread were tasty). Did purchase a lovely knitted jacket for my grandbaby at a reasonable price.

We caught the tail end of this, but it's in a very nice location next to the Victorian Precinct, so perfect for taking a stroll through. We enjoyed browsing the fruit, cheese, etc. Since we couldn't take anything with us, we just settled for some tasty ice cream from one of the trucks.

Went to farmers market and enjoyed the live music. Wandered through the street to the other stores in the Steampunk area and found a lot of wee gems to shop in. Lots of lovely and interesting people only too happy to help. Only downside had to go back to the main street to access an ATM as some businesses didn't take eft-pos but otherwise had a nice relaxing wander.

It is a very small market. It has a mixture of produce to take home and eat there. Was very impressed with the gluten free and refined sugar free stall. Having a lental pie and an amazing tasting salted caramel cheesecake. Would go to this stall often if I lived in the area.

The market is conveniently located next to the Victorian precinct which makes it a double attraction. The Farmers market was in a carpark providing onsite parking. The music was easy on the ears - children couldn't resist the opportunity to dance. The vendors were relaxed, friendly and very helpful. Opportunities to taste! The obligatory (yummy) cheese roll - check out the vehicle! Rug up, bring cash & friends and meander.
