Time to spare before your flight then pop in to Villa Maria for a bite to eat! We didn't have a booking but they accommodated us with a little wait. The food was delicious and service good. Its advisable to book so your not disappointed.

While our wine tasting experience was great the food let this experience down big time. My chicken was over cooked and dry, the sauce that went with it over powered the taste of the dry chicken, which was a good I guess. However clearly no...More

Took the family out for lunch this week and I noticed a few tables outside. The lady at the reception said they were all booked out and we had to sit inside. Fair enough but those tables remained empty the whole time we were there...More

Great setting, great food, excellent value for money vs many overpriced, supposedly 'fine dining' restaurants. Our 5-year old daughter enjoyed her meal too and the atmosphere is completely unpretentious without compromising the quality of the food or wine 👌.

We went for the wine tasting and lunch. I highly recommend the wine tasting as it’s great value for money! Also the duo of duck on the lunch menu was incredible, 10/10, it’s on par with duck that I’ve been served at Michelin star restaurants....More

I think we paid NZD 20. Which was expensive IIRC. The taxi drivers at the airport are pretty peeved at getting taken off the front of the airport rank for such a short fare.

Yes Uber would be best. A taxi will cost a bit more. No easy buses or trains.
