Great experience with Seal Swim Kaikoura this afternoon! The tour guides were unsure how much seal activity there would be given the weather (and warned us properly), and even if we hadn’t seen seals in the water, the snorkeling itself would have been worth it...More

Totally recommend it to travellers & residents of NZ. The family that runs & owns it are by far the best operators we have come across in NZ & overseas. A very inter active swim with seals, safe & fun.....and well worth it.

This is a must do. Such a surreal experience swimming up close and personal with so many beautiful seals. And what made it even better was it being a kiwi family run business, the hosts are fantastic; they're friendly, funny and educational. Loved this!

This trip was my highlight in Kaikoura, and one of the best things I've done in NZ. It's a small, very well run operation, with a small group size and a great team of guides.

The seal colony in Kaikoura is absolutely brilliant! Playful and interactive, the seals did not seem bothered by us but rather intrigued, they checked us out and played with us without ever been enticed to do so, just out of their own will. This was...More

Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people run this business - they are clearly passionate about the seals. Everything is fully explained, we had ages in the water with the seals (didn't get cold at all due to the very good wetsuits they provide), and saw the...More

You need to meet at Seal Swim headquarters in the township and they transport you to the beach where the boat takes you out

You wear a wet suit that they provide, along with fins, mask and snorkel. They might allow you to use a Boogie Board (the guys that accompany you use them). It would be a good idea to call them ahead. They are a lovely... More
