If you are not looking forward to the boats because of potential sea sickness: this is it! Seems the operators work together so before you depart the pilot gets the coordinates & diving time of the spotted whale from the boats: likelihood of spotting greatly...More

Our pilot Josh was amazing. The trip was great value for money and throughly enjoyable. Felt very safe and secure. Coupled with this we stayed out longer than expected as we were lucky to see 5 whales and beautiful snow capped mountains

Boat gives you a closer encounter, but plane lets you see more area and greater chance of seeing whales and dolphins. I would base my decision on the time of season I was visiting.
