The lady a the desk helped us plan our day as our Camper broke down and we had to stay another night in Kaikoura waiting for it to be fixed. Showed us a map and things we could do that were walking distance.

We gained lots of information and help concerning local activities from the ladies running this operation. They will even book tours etc for you. They are always very busy due to the large numbers using the facility, so be patient.

Many brochures and map. Many souvenirs as well to choose from. However you may like to get AA travel guides, which as discount coupons at shopping malls instead of this visitor center.
