Many brochures and map. Many souvenirs as well to choose from. However you may like to get AA travel guides, which as discount coupons at shopping malls instead of this visitor center.

Went in for a browse and came out booked onto 3.5hr horse trek. The woman was very friendly and helpful and knew what she was talking about.

Plenty at the I-site centre; very helpful at the start of a trip to Kaikoura. The staff helped book a one hour walk around town with local guide; giving great info about the town and the effects of the 2016 quake. Definitely worth a visit...More
