The owner shared her knowledge and answered questions about how she delt with the big quake. The gardens are lovely, the animals friendly, and the gift shop is well stocked with items made from plants in the gardens.

We didn't find easy to locate but once we did we were not disappointed. Had lovely chat with owner and enjoyed a lavender tea. Took some lovely photos in the lavender fields with amazing backdrop of mountains. Bought some oils which we have enjoyed.

Beautiful gardens - yes they are not exquisitely maintained, but tranquil and lovely nonetheless. All you can hear is bees buzzing and birds chirping. A number of lavender gardens, with other sweet-smelling herbs to discover around their boundaries. A large pen with chooks and roaming...More
