Fiona provided such an amazing experience in her fabulous commercial kitchen and her lovely home and garden. We started with delicious coffees, a walk in the garden where we gathered herbs and edible flowers for our lunch (and met the critters). Then, we created and enjoyed a delicious lunch with a delightful wine in a perfect setting. Highly recommend!

The day started with foraging from the garden, coffee, and meeting other guests. My partner and I opted to make the entree, starting with making fresh ricotta (a first for us both) and one of our highlights (apart from the actual sit down 3 course meal made by the other guests) Which was divine! We also made nettle pesto! The roast pork belly with braised mushrooms I cant wait to cook as it the best pork belly dish I have ever encountered. Fiona, Chris and Bridget are dedicated and passionate hosts with flair! Kaikoura is very lucky to have such a fine cooking kitchen, offering expertise and quality!

We stayed at the Hapuku Tree House and opted for the savour, taste, repeat package and learning to cook our lunch was part of the package. What a lovely place, inside and out, interesting to harvest the herbs required for the salad. It was fun learning to cook our delicious lunch. Lovely people too.

Thanks so much for your review. We really enjoyed hosting you and so impressed with your cooking abilities. Everything perfectly made - main and dessert. Look forward to seeing you again sometime, perhaps at one of our Supper Club evenings.

10 Friends had the most amazing dining experience. The food was so different from what I have ever eaten before. The ingredients are sourced from Fiona and Chris’s garden, sourced locally or foraged. Many of the Ingredients, I would not have ever have thought using, were turned into Master Chef award winning dishes! The service was excellent, ambience of their home warm and inviting, food out of this world, this all made for a very special night.

The owner of Hapuku Kitchen are super nice. They showcases the very best of New Zealand's fresh, seasonal ingredients. Exceptional fine dining in an intimate setting, with sweeping views of the KaikĹŤura coastline.

Amazing food, atmosphere and lovely hosts! Im vegan and my meals were just fabulous. These guys cater for any dietary requirements. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend
