Beautiful reflections to photograph or just walk around absorbing the beauty. Take a picnic, stop for a while.

We called into this peaceful spot on our way to Franz Joseph and there in front of the main car park was a white heron -kotuku. Legend has it that outside of the nesting area further down the coast, these are rare birds to see....More

A bit boring to visit unless planning to stay and bring stuff w you for the lake activities. It had rained the night before and was flooding a bit over there.
