Nice waterfall just off the roadway and easy to photograph from the road. Worth walking the other way to the lake side, which is 10 mins and very pretty.

A drive to the falls. The falls are close by the road and are of a decent height. The walk to the falls is only minutes, to come across a good sized waterfall.

We found it a great little waterfall. Have been to several others while in NZ on holidays but fond this one good because of the local greenery, the lack of too many people and the rocks you can climb up and down across the busy...More

We drove around Lake Kaniere stopping at walks on the way and also the falls. The road is gravel the whole way and so be cautious on corners. The falls is just a 5 minute walk from the carpark and more spectacular post heavy rains....More

It took us a while to drive to Dorothy Falls from the Hokitika gorge and the road was very windy. It might be better to go directly from Hokitika. Even so, it was well worth the trip.

Yes. That shouldn't be a problem at all. Just allow plenty of time.
