Hokitika's Regent Theatre is a fully refurbished 1935 art deco movie theatre. The theatre shows fully digitized movies 7 days a week during school holidays and 5 days a week during school term time. It is also used for local and visiting concerts and events - seating 381. Within the theatre is a cafe serving coffee, savouries, home made cakes, slices, milkshakes and the best pies in town. The cafe is open 7 days a week. Cafe hours are 7.30am to 6.00pm.

Yay - best in the South Island - we love it. Come back and try some other flavours one day. The top selling pie is the Lambs Fry one, although Butter Chicken is in the Top 5 !!
