We stayed in Hokitika at the Shining Star Beachfront We booked this accommodation for its position leading to the beach, but more so its proximity to the Glow Worm Dell which is across the main highway from the Motel. Do pay a visit if you...More

The worm dell is situated a very short walk from the main road and is larger and more impressive than I anticipated. Plus it’s free! You can’t argue with that.

The best place to see the glow worms free of charge. Go here during the dark and you'll get the best experience. A very short walk and torchlights aren't a must (unless it's very dark for you). Limit exposure to electronic devices as the white...More
