Go here during the dark and you'll get the best experience. A very short walk and torchlights aren't a must (unless it's very dark for you).

Glow worms were a short walk/biking away from city center. I went soon after sunset and first I could see only a few but as the evening grew darker there were hundreds of them! Worth visiting, especially as it is free.
