A sort of wet fishy zoo with kiwis. Watched them being fed after actually feeding the eels. Some liked to be stroked as well: others just turned their backs. Or maybe their fronts, difficult to tell which end is which. Great place for children, although...More

I managed to make the last feeding time for the day - eels fed first, then the kiwis. We were encouraged to feed worms to the eels and to stroke them - odd sensation, like velvet. Then to the kiwi's in their dimmed light area....More

This was a great place, plenty to see with souvenirs and a free choc fish if you spot Nemo. I stroked an eel (!) and watched the kiwis feed - one gobbled his up but the female very picky, prefering to forage for herself.

Got to feed and pat the giant eels. Watched the two kiwis being fed. Attempted to catch crayfish. Had lots of fun. Would highly recommend this attraction and attend during feeding times.

I didn’t expect much of this place as it’s in town and is quite small but how wrong I was. The price is reasonable and Crowded with tourists. The kiwi’s are easily seen and and get quite close to the viewing windows. The giant eels...More
