The Whangarei Falls walk is definitely a must activity for solo, family, friends or other travellers. The walk is beautiful and cool since it is under the trees. The waterfalls are also lovely to see.

A nice place to visit for an hour or two or even to stretch the legs. A decent size waterfall to be interesting and unlike many its easy access and short walk from car park. Seem popular spot.

Very nice place for a walk and for a family picnic. Great surrounding environment and green open space.

A must see Particularly good when we visited due to amount of rain fall Crossing over river was open when we got there but had closed by the time we had left due to the sheer volume of water Awesome to see nature at work

There is a carpark close to the 26 metre falls and a comfortable loop walk which takes one through the woods and across a couple of bridges that give excellent photo opportunities.

Good parking & access to the walk. No need to go low easy to see full view from lookout near car parking. Bonus is not many towns have a large waterfall in town.
