Beautiful location down by the water - great coffee spots too. We took the kids down to play in the playground - they loved it.

Beautiful walk down the waterfront. Interesting sculptures, Easy and well maintained walkway. Great cafes too. Kudos to the Whangarei District Council for doing such a great job.

I love visiting here. Lovely shops, well layed out with eateries and interesting things to look at. Play area for the kids and just generally nice walking by the water.

Whether the weather is kind or not I found I could enjoy it here. Coffee food and people watch or just enjoy the boats. Shopping is good with the occasional bargain to be had. Lollies and ice cream for the children and pet friendly.
