We often visit here. Great atmosphere. Good for all ages. From the shops to restaurants to walking the full loop or just wandering along enjoying the boats or the sculptures! Would reccomend for all to see!

What a wonderful asset to Whangarei. Interesting shops and surprisingly reasonably priced. I like to drink a coffee and pick which yacht I'd buy when I win Lotto

There are many restaurants and cafés to choose from with a variety of menu item's. Some offer a good choice of gluten-free foods. There are river views, a good kids play area. There is also a good walkway, smooth surface with short and long options.

lovely spot - stop for a coffee or a meal, buy some jewellery, walk around the interesting sculpture and art pieces. Move your muscles. A lovely community asset alongside the Hoteo (Hatea) River. beautiful.
