Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was delighted to visit this great farmer's market a couple of times in December '18 & January '19 when staying with my daughter in Whangarei.
It's bustling, busy and has a fantastic array of wares on offer - locally produced honey and Manuka honey, garden plants, baked goods, homemade pickles and chutneys, locally grown fruit and veg, locally reared meat and sausages, local cheeses, flowers and even buckets of fresh kina.
Most of the stall holders are very friendly and happy to talk about their produce, being very informative.
I absolutely love this market and always spend much more than I intend to.
It's a "must do" whenever I visit Whangarei.

A great farmers market with something for everyone
I bought fruit and vegetables then a bench grinder
It’s worth a visit just for a look round and a ice cream

I have the pleasure of seeing this market develop from a dream of innovative people into the go to place for business and home foodies. Nearly every time I visit there's another stall. Congratulations to everyone involved
