Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A flavor-rama is meant to be fudge crumbs mixed with plain icecream. For $7 I was extremely disappointed as it had barely any fudge. A massive rip off

Although a bit pricey, the ice creams are delicious and 2 out of our 3 kids could not finish theirs!

My double ice-cream cone was well-stacked with solidly compacted balls of fantastic flavour! Yum! and at least a dollar less than some famous but meaner vendors. Husband’s pomegranate ice-cream soda was a delicious buzz, too.

I visited this spot during my Northland trip. It was a perfect sunny day to have ice cream. I forgot my ice cream flavour, but it was good! They have other sweet treats too. Perfect for family and kids. They have some seating arrangements outside and plenty in the Town basin. The staff was polite, very patient and had some good customer service skills too. Would highly recommend! Cheers

I made sure to visit the fudge farm when I was in whangarei. I ordered a chocolate fudge sundae and a chocolate thickshake. I was very disappointed when I received my sundae as it had very little sauce....I had to ask if it was actually a chocolate sundae as it looked like a scoop of vanilla ice cream iwith a very small swirl of sauce which was a caramel colour. It was supplied with a very small plastic spoon. Underneath the scoop of ice cream there was broken up fudge which the small plastic spoon had difficulty getting out as it bent and nearly snapped with the effort. I was really expecting to get chocolate ice cream with fudge mixed into it with a nice helping of chocolate sauce on top. I thought for the cost I would get something like that. The thickshake was very ho hum...I was very underwhelmed. Not a great experience and I will not be going back. The fudge was not what I was expecting either....but I did not buy any so won’t comment about it.

As we were passing through Whangarei, a break at the Marina enjoying hand scooped ice cream, was just right. A great selection of flavours.

Milkshakes need more flavour. Size value good.

Space very small - difficulty getting to counter.

Ice creams very yummy.

After a long Hatea loop walk we really earned couple of ice-cream scoops on a sunny day. There were lots of yummy flavours and I was confused wat to select :) among so many....I had Orange Chocolate swirls and hubby got salted caramel with cashews. my daughter loved some of the carved chocos and we bought assorted designs for her. The only thing made us uneasy was the ingredients list...they didn't had any for all ice-cream flavours....therefore we just randomly picked our flavours. I am going visit this place again definitely.
