We got all the information we were looking for plus more: They have a small model of town and surroundings and beautiful posters on Maori history.

We visited here primarily to pick up a map, but Keri soon asked if she could help and gave us some great advice and local knowledge unprompted about road closures in an area we were planning to travel. So helpful and may just have saved...More

I always seem to need to ask iSite staff awkward questions, mainly because I am usually writing a travel article and want to find something different to do or photograph. The staff here were super-helpful and came up with plenty of useful ideas.

Helpful friendly staff. Lots of information on hand and a small variety of local gifts. Everything you'd want from your i-site!

Very helpful and if one person did not have the answer to my question, one of the others did. You can find out about how when and where of everything in Wanganui.

Really very helpful tourist info spot and cheery guide corrected us on things that the guide book had wrong. Also had good knowledge on local conditions affecting walks etc. Impressive surroundings and full cafe next door. Plus smart and clean toilets.
