Can't speak highly enough about my experience here, from the warm welcome, the high level of customer service, amazing food, thorough explanation of all that is on offer and excellent knowledge of the surrounding area. I arrived on the wrong side of the afternoon, carpark was reasonably full but you would not have known people were rambling through the gardens... More

We called ahead to check for disability access and were told that entry was free for anyone with a disability because they would not be able to access the whole gardens. We really enjoyed our visit and found the paths and walkways surprisingly easy to navigate even with wheelchair or walker. Afterwards we enjoyed chatting to the staff in the... More

A sudden decision to visit and very glad we did - this is a wonderful scenic area taking visitors on a memorable journey through native and exotic plant and vegetation species - large lily ponds appear every so often with beautiful flowers adorning the ponds . The walk should take at least an hour to take full advantage - ending... More

Very friendly staff & a very gracious host complements these gardens. Great gardens to wonder through, heaps of plants, water features, ducks, lilies, flowers, streams, swimming hole, waterfall & well posted walkways. Be sure to say hello to the dog or one legged duck that greet you at the door. Try the food at this award winning restaurant (6 consecutive... More

Beautiful landscape. Good place for family and groups. The waterfall is fun. We spent at least 20min in the water. $15 for adult and $6 for kids. Family (2 adults + 2 kids) for $36. We found an egg. The ducks are friendly. No internet connection, so good family time. Outside has a spring. Good place for kids to play... More

The gardens aren't very big, but they are beautiful. Nice little walk up to the waterfall. We called in the café after our walk for a coffee, where we met the owner. She was a lovely woman and told us a lot about the gardens and how she came to buy them. Nice little morning out, really enjoyed it -... More

I was given a voucher as a gift for my birthday for two of us to take our time wandering through the lovely gardens. It was a gorgeous spring day and the lily ponds were lovely, but NO fish?? I was well worth the hike up through the bush to reach the top of the waterfall. Beautiful.

We intended to visit the water gardens but had to change our plans as unfortunately it was pouring with rain when we came through. We stopped for a coffee instead, and to check it out a bit. I want to point out that the gardens cost $15 per adult to enter - not an unfair price, but it wasn't very... More

We walked through the garden up to the waterfall. WOW!!! What an experience. Beautifully landscaped gardens. If you want peace and quite and be close to nature this is where you should go. Afterwards we had coffee at the cafe. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely go back next time we pass through Thames.

A perfect stop on your travels through the Coromandel. The walk is exquisite. It will exceed your expectations Make sure you go up to the falls as they are magnificent. Very peaceful and relaxing. Make sure you call into the restaurant as well.
