Viewing the water gardens was a pleasant experience even on a dull day. A lot of work has gone into creating and maintaining an interesting garden. However the entry cost was a bit steep for what is not a demonstratively great garden.

We spent approximately 4 hours at this beautiful property. Firstly, we walked through the beautifully maintained water gardens and then on up to the Waterfall. There was so much to take in that we often re-traced our steps. The plants, water features, ducks, trees and ferns were all amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed all. I could tell that there had... For garden lovers these water gardens are a must. Take time out on your trip North to wander round this little piece of heaven. The food at the café also looks good although we did not stay to eat.

We stayed here for one night as we had had business in the area. It was a lucky find on betterpricehotels.com! On booking we had received a couple of very helpful 'setup' emails from one of the proprietors advising of meal options etc. The reception was warm and friendly. Very personal. We enjoyed a gentle walk through the gardens and... More

We visited on a beautiful spring day and what a treat we had. It is stunning and the lillies hadn't even flowered yet. It's well laid out and it's an easy walk. Something to admire around every corner. Shame we didn't have time to sample the food in the restaurant as the menu looked excellent. Would love to go back... More

We started our visit with a "Dam Good Coffee'' as the street sign suggested. And it was good! We just wish we didn't have a late breakfast otherwise we would have had lunch at the very inviting dining area. The menu looked delicious and is award-winning looking at all the awards on the wall. Any gardner would love visiting these... More

A beautifully planned garden, not much flowering in May but still showing great bones. We so enjoyed the shady walks and the greeness on such a hot day. The walk up to the waterfall is well worth the time. The meal at the restaurant was the best meal of our trip. Seeing this garden in spring would be ideal, when... More
