Took my two young children to the gardens. Lovely walk and good food in the cafe. Admission price for the gardens a bit steep but food reasonably priced.

Not worth the drive from Flaxmillbay. Fortunately it was bad weather, because this garden isn't amazing at all. There were alot of water lilies but all the same and they haven't been that spectacular. The restaurant there, yes is worth the way for a visit....More

Well worth the drive from Whangamata where we stayed the week.Peaceful and restful.Enjoyed the variety of plants and art.The ducks were delightful too. The waterfall was well worth the walk.

Viewing the water gardens was a pleasant experience even on a dull day. A lot of work has gone into creating and maintaining an interesting garden. However the entry cost was a bit steep for what is not a demonstratively great garden.
