A scenic drive from Thames! The narrow entrance road skirted a lovely little river and provided many interesting views. The gardens themselves were beautiful. You could choose a shorter walk through a beautifully established, very natural garden with many different kinds of water features. Then...More

After several days of adventure, this was a calm reprieve. It was an easy yet rewarding walk. Different at every turn, it featured native and other flowering plants along with waterfalls, ponds, and streams.

We had a great stay at the Rapaura Watergardens. We're here for the World Master's Games #WMG2017 and touring abit beforehand. This was a unique introduction to the verdant foliage of New Zealand. The house was lovely.

Spent a morning looking around these gardens. Beautifully maintained. Walked up to the seven stairs to heaven waterfall. Enjoyed the morning even though it rained most of the time we were there. Had morning tea at the restaurant there. Would recommend.

Don't forget to take your camera as a picture is worth a thousand words. They will give you some food for the ducks and they will follow you everywhere.
