An amazing tranquil paradise, a hidden gem that needs to be seen. Kiwi hospitality, that is absolutely outstanding! From the hospitality, to the fantastic amazing cuisine, to the bush/English garden's ALL are welcoming and outstanding. The water fall's is one of many "garden" highlights!

A must see. The owners were delightful. The walk took about 45 minutes. Took lots of photos. You will be glad you stopped.

We visited the garden in early spring so it is a pity we couldn't see any water lilies... the garden is well maintained, and suitable for all age groups. Feeding the ducks was fun. It was funny to see the ducks running towards you when...More

A scenic drive from Thames! The narrow entrance road skirted a lovely little river and provided many interesting views. The gardens themselves were beautiful. You could choose a shorter walk through a beautifully established, very natural garden with many different kinds of water features. Then...More

After several days of adventure, this was a calm reprieve. It was an easy yet rewarding walk. Different at every turn, it featured native and other flowering plants along with waterfalls, ponds, and streams.

We had a great stay at the Rapaura Watergardens. We're here for the World Master's Games #WMG2017 and touring abit beforehand. This was a unique introduction to the verdant foliage of New Zealand. The house was lovely.
