These gardens aren't spectacular but the attached restaurant held great promise. The coffee was fantastic, the dining menu looked very upmarket and the restaurant had a delightful ambience. The absolute gem was the guy behind the counter who offered all sorts of very useful tips...More

The gardens were written up as a tourist stop in the Foder's tour guide. They were well worth the windy, rough road it took to find this little gem. The gardens are well manicured with a large variety of native trees and plants and of...More

The Rapaura water gardens were an absolute delight to visit. The gardens themselves are beautifully manicured while at the same time being natural and wild just like a good garden should be! There’s lots of beautiful flora and interesting and quirky sculptures to look at...More

We went here on the recommendation of our hosts at Chartre Manor. Lunch was excellent, and we enjoyed our walk through the park and to the falls. We got a kick out of the ducks as one really took to my husband and followed him...More

Beautiful gardens and manicured walkways which culminate in a steep uphill walk to a beautiful waterfall. You don't have to do the waterfall but it is spectacular. There are ducks to feed and numerous ponds to view as you meander through a beautiful scenic setting.

The garden is beautiful, complete with brooks, lily pads, waterfalls, ferns and large trees. As memorable, though, was the gourmet-quality lunch. My wife and I shared a pumpkin soup and a creamed mushroom on toast that was to die for (white wine, brandy and cream...More

This is a fascinating garden in two parts. One is a short stroll and the other a longer more expoansive walk. There is an air of tranquility and beautiful flora and fauna. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable and the food extemeley good.

After a stressful morning of driving "left", we visited the gardens to relax and unwind. The flowing streams and pretty flowers did just that. It's a gorgeous walk, but the path to the cascade waterfalls isn't well marked. Keep going up the path and at...More

Hi there and sorry I have not seen your query. There were no signs that restricted dogs but there are many ducks walking around and begging you to feed them. Best to answer that question are the gardens themselves. Enjoy... More
