Very interesting facts. It's no day trip. The museum is very very small. Maybe fifteen minutes if you read everything. Would be awesome to see it bigger.

Found a park in Heretaunga street not far from the Museum and easy to find, had the place to myself and the whole set up is fantastic and loved everything they have done so well done to the team who set all this up.

The majority of the collection is tucked away in a building away from the main hospital, and currently open 1st and 3rd Friday afternoons, 2-4.30 pm and run by volunteers. It is however well worth the effort if medical history is of interest to you.The...More

Whether you have a Medical or Nursing background or not check it out. They have a an operating theatre set up and a collection of World War 1 and 2 memorabilia. Open 1st and 3rd Fridays from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Donations welcome.
