We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Square Edge Arts Centre is a stylish art deco building that holds so many surprises - arts groups and workshops (from visual to dance and music). It has a lovely gallery space which is especially focused on beginning artists and community projects, a lovely cafe with excellent coffee and food, art related shops and even a community bicycle hire/recycle place that is so reasonably priced. Its on the square - a landmark that's easy to find.

What a fantastic place for local artists and community. A lovely airy feeling, and with a very nice cafe.

Square Edge was the former Palmerston North City Council chambers. It is now a busy Arts Centre with shops, galleries and a cafe. A number of community groups related to the arts have rooms or meet here too, The Evelyn Rawlins room (formerly the actual council chamber) hosts concerts, weekly orchestra rehearsals and is available for hire. The Art recycling centre is a go to for craft materials. See the Square Edge website for more

Have a relaxing time browsing through the small centre. Easy walk from the square. Good for crafts and gifts.
Good parking, coffee.

Square Edge is housed in a brightly painted Art Deco building on the south eastern corner of the main town square. There's a gallery space that hosts ever-changing exhibitions, an alternative fashion boutique, art supply store, craft store and an awesome cafe with fast wifi. Upstairs there are a range of artist and music studios. The sunny courtyard at the back of the building has cafe tables, a bike workshop and cycle hire; and an arts recycling centre. An hub for quirky, alternative arts and culture.
