An easy drive through a wine and cave region. There is a lot to do with many wineries, caves and mazes to stop at. But not a drivers' road, OK in a boring SUV hire car but not the road to take the Alfa out...More

Caves road seems to be the spine road of the area and leads you to all sorts of wineries, potteries. Obviously a car is needed but as you travel down this road you will see a varying type of forest and vegetation. Even Controlled burning...More

Take your time driving Caves Road as the scenery is fabulous with some of the best bush I have seen. Lots to see and do.

This is a beautiful forest road. The karri trees are very unusual. The road is narrow but not very busy. This is a great way to see natural south-west Australia.

Along Caves Road (past Margaret River) is a forest glade which is magical. There's a little place to stop and a viewing platform and you can walk amongst the majestic trees. The atmosphere is quite special particularly when the sun shines down

We travelled from Busselton to Margaret River via the Caves Road. It was very picturesque and was mostly in or beside the National Park.

A wonderful part of southern western Australia bordering a national park. We visited the Lake cave but enjoyed this drive almost as much. Highly recommend as so scenic.

Any drive down the caves road wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the Boranup Karri forest grove. The trees are really impressive. However we came across this family group carving their names on one of the trees. It’s a pity that they have to...More

There are several caves, many wineries, and a few restaurants. Otherwise the scenery is all that you have. Drive carefully as there is little warning for most points of interest. You are driving by at 50km, and all of a sudden the exit sign appears,...More
