Thanks for your review but please note that Calgardup is one of the medium size caves in the area with 300m of boardwalk. It is one of the easier caves to visit as it isn't as deep as some of the others with less stairs....More

A great way to experience caves especially with little ones. Lots to see and look for. You get a thorough induction and briefing before you go in. Helmets with head torches and hand held torches are provided, also an ultra violet torch is given out...More

It is great fun on being your own tour guide. The cave is very dark but it is great to feel the mystery of the darkness. Good fun

Awesome semi adventurous self guided cave. Great for kids as there are some micro vertebrates and other goodies hiding in the cave

This cave, along with Giants cave a bit further along Caves Road, is operated by DPAW, a govt agency whereas the other tourist caves are run by a not-for-profit organisation. The biggest differences are no guide and no electric lights. You get a hard hat...More

Nice to hear that you enjoyed your visit. It's true, Calgardup is a very dynamic cave as it changes with the seasonal water flow of the stream that flows into the lake. The dripping of the water from the cave formations is also quite lovely...More

Thanks for the great review. This time of year is lovely in the cave as the seasonal stream and lake are filling with water. It makes for great reflections and fabulous for photography.
