Often the river is blocked by a sand bar - kids can be paddling in it. Close to surfers point to see the surfers and canoe tours go down the river. The beach itself certainly isn't the best quality sand in the region but its...More

Easily accessed from car park. Shallow river paddling or swimming, good for children. Older children love the sea and on calmer days the surf. Lifeguard on duty during summer holidays

Where Margaret River joined the ocean. A really nice location for a relaxing time. Nature is absolutely beautiful and you really shouldn't miss seeing the Margaret River whilst at Margaret River. Although the wine is a good reason....😀

Went to have a look we walked along the mouth of the river and sea edge, blew the cobwebs away. Would be lovely in summer to visit. Saw the stone statue on the rocks from afar thought was a human.

Very nice organized place. Lot of parking places, few toilets, surfing school. You can do kayak seiling from ocean to Margaret river.

We picked this beach because of the area where young children can wade in the shallow and calm water, play in the sand etc. There were also other families with paddle boards, etc, playing in the water. The actual beach itself looked incredibly rough and...More

This is a flat beach but surrounded with dunes. We watched many surfers enjoying the swell. The water was cold. Too cold to swim without a wetsuit.

Yes most definitely. There was a board near the walkway showing species, sizes and bag limits allowed. There was a man fishing at the mouth of the river while we were there. Such z lovely spot. Enjoy!
