The Catholic Cathedral is an inspiring and interesting place to visit. I am an organist and was keen to play their new pipe organ, so had made prior arrangements to do so on my arrival.

Thanks for visiting our beautiful Cathedral and 'spreading the word'. Judy is certainly passionate and knowledgeable about Monsignor Hawes and his works and like all our volunteer guides, loves to share his story with all who visit.

An unusual design makeshift modern cathedral worth a visit. Look out for the tilting stained glass windows. Fully accessible and landscaped. Close to town and the shuttle bus stops here if you don't want to walk.More

Multi million dollar renovations see this Cathedral restored to its full beauty. Its architecture has strong Romanesque and Moorish influences, particularly inside which is somewhat of a surprise. One source recently listed it as one of the 3 best cathedrals in Australia and amongst the...More

A peaceful place and the inside was even better! All the old wooden benches, baptism font that was glassed off, and the nice stained glass windows. The grounds were immaculate and there was even their own little cafe in another wing.
