St Francis Xavier Cathedral is one of the most iconic buildings in Geraldton. Designed and built by the famous Architect/Priest Monsignor John Hawes, it attracts visitors from all over the world. A major restoration, conservation and enhancement project has just been undertaken and the 100 year old building is well worth a visit. The Cathedral is open every day . Guided Tours are available Sunday, Monday & Wednesday at 2:30 Friday at 4:00 Tickets ($5) are available from the Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre adjacent to the Cathedral.

The Cathedral is open to the public daily and guided tours are available on Sundays, Mondays & Wednesdays at 2:30 and Friday at 4:00.

Pleased you enjoyed your visit. Tours are on Sunday , Monday & Wednesday at 2:30 and Friday at 4:00. Tickets ($5) are available at the Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre Museum adjacent to the Cathedral

A great looking piece of architecture. Well lit at night too. Nice services inside that we'll savour in our memories. Hope to see it and the town again.

Wonderful visit. We had a very passionate volunteer guide, Judy who took us around and explained many aspects of the Cathedral. The history is very interesting. The Cathedral has been renovated and is on a beautiful location.

Thanks Margaret. The crypt can only be viewed on a Guided Tour. They are available on Sunday, Monday & Wednesday at 2:30 and Friday at 4:00. Cost $5. Tickets available at the Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre adjacent to the cathedral.

The $5 tour fee was well worth every cent . The Cathedral restorations are wonderful. One of many Monsignor Hawes buildings that has left a mark on Western Australian history
