Nice place to take a stroll and watch the ships come into port. It also has some nice playgrounds and places to stop for lunch too.

We stopped here for the kids to use the playground while one of us went and got supplies - an excellent place to stop and have a play. Activities for all ages in the playground.

This foreshore has so many seats and covered areas, plus barbecues it is a visitors delight. Clean toilets a bonus. We sat over a picnic lunch and watched the boats go by.

I often go along Marine Terrace and see families using the foreshore. It has a playground, grassed area and beach. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. There is plenty of space and shops close.

A clean beach only less than perfect if the wind is too strong from the wrong direction, otherwise, excellent!

Love to charge in for a swim to the pontoon to start the day. Nice sand, not much seaweed. Outdoor showers to rinse off.

A pleasant little beach with a nice clean feel. Lovely walks and kids play areas in the locality. Access to local cafes and toilets a stone throw away. A nice interlude for watching the surf and ships.

Walked to the town beach from our B&B every morning for swim at the town beach. The foreshore upgrade is beautiful, walking paths, amazing playgrounds for kids and grassed areas and garden down to the foreshore.

Enjoyed my morning bike rides along the forshore and cafes with my teenage sons. Great pathways and if you have younger children big nice playgrounds.
