We enjoyed the Mangrove Boardwalk as a little escape. Very peaceful and quiet and not overly busy. It's worth mentioning that the car park near the Boardwalk is currently being upgraded and is closed off.

If you are going to the Dolphin Discovery Centre, take a small detour to visit the Mangrove Boardwalk. These are the southernmost white mangroves in the world. The boardwalk is only 200 metres long, but worth seeing.

Although the boardwalk has now been replaced, it is still an interesting site to walk past. I think it is only one of the last mangrove swamps in the south west.

I walked around the river estuary which included the mangrove walk, about an hour in total. Very pleasant walk with cafes near town and great views of the water

Interesting walk through mangroves, which apparently unusually far south. Unfortunately it was quite late when we visited, but we enjoyed what we saw.

I walk a lot so always try to mix up places where I walk so that I have a change in scenery. The mangroves give you a place to view birds in their sanctuary. The Board Walk is nice but if you want to walk...More

We cycled from the Big 4 caravan park along the path that unexpectedly took us to the mangroves. The boardwalk gives a great view of the mangroves, we saw fish and heard all sorts of birdcall. The path continues right around the water over a...More
