Enjoyed the evening with the family here. The water is clean for a swim. And the the day we went the weather was excellent. Had a calm walk along the beach with wife. It is a lovely place to watch the sunset and the city...More

We stopped in here on what we thought would be a nice quiet Thursday night, until were met by riot police on horse back and gangs of youths running amuck. Didn’t feel like a safe neighbourhood to be in. Perhaps it’s safer during the day?

We walked along the sea front today and it was peaceful and beautiful. The sun was shining but there was a lovely breeze and although there were some people, there were not many between 9 and 10am. We believe this is because most of the...More

Walked along the beachfront and loved the views. Beach clean and spacious in early Spring. Lots of activity here...cyclists, joggers and walkers. Great atmosphere.

Walked the full length of the beach and pier yesterday. Loads of kite skiers which was great fun to watch. However it’s not a beach I would sunbathe on as there are dogs everywhere and I’m scared of dogs. Up on the esplanade you are...More

A long beach to walk along. Very open to the weather changes and if windy, Id stay away. There is a lovely cafe nearby which Id highly recommend having a coffee and cake at.
