Interesting to see how this works. You can get right up beside the boats and chat with the passengers.

We were really lucky to actually see how the lock works! Amazing! The park was very nice and quiet too just for picnics or relaxing.

We walked along the river to the lock & our timing was excellent- a paddlesteamer was going through. It’s a beautiful place on the river & an easy walk from the rowers club.

Interesting seeing the lock in action. Quite an engineering feat from a long time ago. Amazing to see the paddle wheeler drop in such a quick time. Love the combined Murray flag !

Hi Chris, I am not a hundred per cent sure the times but I will make some enquiries and get back to you ASAP. From memory I think it is around 2.00 p.m as we did the afternoon cruise.
