Very enjoyable walking around Geelong's foreshore. My wife and I found it very relaxing. There always appears to be a lot of activity. There are plenty of statues and carvings and art work around to enjoy as well.

Geelong have done a wonderful job of cleaning up the Foreshore area. It's now great for people to stroll, kids to play or just sit and watch the world go by, especially if you are sitting on the vintage and beautifully restored Carousel.

It’s a nice place to walk. Not the ideal place to go into the water but sand and volleyball nets and only walking distance from a playground kiddie pool and food trucks it’s nice all year around. And plenty of Pokémon stops for those trying...More

No not much free parking in Geelong and unless you are prepared for a walk it's very expensive.
