A quiet restful spot near the heart of Ballarat. Surrounded by water reeds it makes for a pleasant walk on flat ground. You can walk up an incline to be above the Lake and find the playground.

This is a flooded old quarry. A small puddle. It is only worth going to for dog walks. Please don't waste your time as a tourist.

Great place to walk. Several levels and varied surfaces. Ballarat City has seriously improved the built infrastructure. Great place for visitors and locals. It is much larger then it appears from road frontage. great place to explore. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

This is a great little spot in the suburbs. I would be cautious of snakes in the warmer months myself. however there is a great little playground for the kids. The ducks love the stale bread and it is easy to walk around .

We love Esmond - has a great flying fox and playground for the kids with BBQ facilities and walking tracks that go the length of the park. Fishing is an option but fairly slow in my outings for this purpose. BBQ facilities are typically well...More

This has recently been renovated/revamped and it's awesome!! Very cool playground for the kids, very natural, awesome flying fox! Only downfall is there is only one table under cover/near the bbqs, so it's kinda first in best dressed sometimes.

One of my favourite places to visit, great playground for the kids, good fishing and of course we grew up swimming in here.
