Lovely large lake to walk around. It is a pretty long way around and tired out my four year old but we really enjoyed it. Went in winter so was cold and not sure if less pleasant in Summer.

What a lovely lake right in Ballarat, walking/running/cycling paths. Places to sit, picnic and play. Some beautifully maintained old boat sheds, rotundus and gardens. Really worth a visit for many reasons.

Contact Ballarat Tourist Information at the Town Hall (03) 5337 4337 they will be able to answer this and more info about what else you can do whilst you are in Ballarat - I found them very helpful when I was there in May.

If you mean the tennis centre in Sebastopol, it is approximately 5.5 kms from Lake Wendouree.
