Take the time to walk around the lake with many locals. Great views and historic place where the 1956 Olympic rowing took place.

What a beautiful lake. Nothing like experiencing it in Summer on a beautiful day, but I particularly like those cold wintry days. Bracing!! Always worth a visit

Contact Ballarat Tourist Information at the Town Hall (03) 5337 4337 they will be able to answer this and more info about what else you can do whilst you are in Ballarat - I found them very helpful when I was there in May.
