This place is very beautiful. You can see a lot of great art for free. The paid exhibitions are usually pretty good as well.

We dropped in last Thursday to see this Exhibition that highlighted the way Impressionists used the Light with the new paints. Some of the Works were truly wonderful. Overall, the collection was a bit uneven but well curated. Worth the Visit and the fee.

Thanks for your response - glad you enjoyed the show. Our Curator Julie McLaren did an excellent job laying out the exhibition and making it a really enjoyable experience, and mixing the works from France with the ones from our own and other Australian collections.

We took a friend to see the exhibition "Into Light" at this beautiful gallery. We enjoyed the paintings which were well displayed. We also took time to look at the Australian art that is here including those of the Lindsay family.
