We visited during the BOAA and were not disappointed. Some fabulous and varied installations here. The cafe is great too. Allow a good hour or so to really take everything in. Staff were very helpful and there is a cloak room available.

We travelled to Ballarat just for the Art Gallery and we weren't disappointed. There is a nice collection of works from Australian artists on permanent display including Sidney Nolan, Arthur Streeton, Russell Drysdale, Tom Roberts, Norman Lindsay and many others.

A small group of us drove up from Melbourne to see Into the Light. They organized a French guide for us which made our day. We loved it.
