City Park, in the heart of Launceston is a great place to visit. Excellent playground for the kids, great paths for scooters or bike, the monkey enclosure to observe for an hour or two. Lovely grassed areas for picnics and lots of parking all around.

We came across this lovely park whilst walking through Launceston town, stunning flowers, beautiful trees and even an enclosure with monkeys, the babies were very cute, sad to see them in captivity but even so they were cute.

Stroll around the park and enjoy smelling the flowers! Japanese macaques in enclosure to amuse you. Don’t miss the conservatory, the ducks on the pond and the little train doing circuits.
